On Monday 14th August 2023 at 5pm Brett Baker and I will be performing some exhilarating repertoire for trumpet and trombone with the fabulous pianist Stephen De Pledge.
The setting for the concert is the Great Hall, Dartington, Devon. You can read more about this historic 14C building here
The programme offers a diverse take on the brass repertoire with the glorious acoustic of the Great Hall lending itself beautifully to this music. Of particular interest is the work by Jonathan Harvey ‘Other Presences’ which is an extraordinary composition for trumpet and electronics. The programme includes:
